Full-time Part Time Instructor - Math

at University of Nevada, Las Vegas in Nevada

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Part Time Instructors (pooled position) for the fall 2022 semester in the Department of Mathematical Sciences. The successful candidates are expected to teach 1 - 2 lower division mathematical courses such as Math 120, 124, 126, 127, 128, or 132. The Instructors are required to perform all standard teaching duties, including holding regularly scheduled office hours, providing mid-semester grades and assessment data for the classes taught. The successful candidates are also encouraged to provide service to the students and the Department.

QUALIFICATIONS
The position requires a minimum of Master degree in Mathematical Sciences from a regionally accredited college or university. Preference will be given to applicants who have at least two years teaching experience at the college level with a record of successful teaching experience in lower division mathematical courses. Credentials must be obtained prior to the start of employment.

SALARY RANGE
Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions. Position is contingent upon funding.
