Quality Control Clerk

at Jobisite in New York

Job description
We are seeking seeking a Quality Control Clerk to join our team on 1st shift.
This is a highly administrative position which requires a lot of documentation and data entry,
Hours: 7am to 3:30pm - Monday through Friday
Key Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret blue prints
• Perform First Article Inspections and prepare documentation for submission
• Perform in-process and final inspection of machined and sheet metal parts.
• Audit manufacturing floor for compliance to operational procedures.
• Perform receiving inspections for outside services and some raw materials
• Review specifications and traveler documentation for completeness, and accuracy
• Updated manufacturing documentation as required.
• Generate reports and manufacturing details as required.
Basic Skill Set required:
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task
• Effective communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to read blueprints a plus
• High School Diploma or GED required.
