Arteche Smart Digital Optics is currently expanding with an unique opportunity for a
Production Technician to join our team at our Sydney site. The full-time position will require a proactive candidate who is looking to work alongside a dedicated production engineering team for the development and manufacture of Optical sensors.

Job description

Key Duties and responsibilities

Perform functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including assembly of optical, mechanical and electronics systems.
Working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, sub- assemblies and final assemblies.
Use of programs to collect and evaluate results.
Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.
Works with engineers in conducting experiments.
Assist in the maintenance of SDO’s quality management system.
Qualifications and Experience

A Diploma in Engineering or in Photonics. Relevant working experience is desirable.
Follow, comply and ensure good housekeeping and safety in factory.
Is open to work in shift hours on normal workday.
Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
Must be reliable, innovative, committed, a self-starter, and quality focused.
Strong sense of urgency, punctuality, and drive to succeed.
Ability to lift 25kg.
