Join a leading insurance company and bring multi-line commercial underwriting experience to the table to build customer relationships and grow business.

Responsibilities:

Facilitate client development and retention and enhance client relationships through marketing, travel, client presentations, and proposal generation.

Nurture and manage assigned agency relationships.

Underwrite and negotiate new business and renewals with middle market accounts from $50,000 to $1,250,000 in premium.

Handle lines of business including workers compensation, umbrella, automobile, general liability, property, construction, and inland marine.

Perform hazard analysis and assess prospect financial standing, operational strategy, and industry trends to determine whether to proceed with account, and how to approach pricing.

Excellent compensation and benefits package provided with chances for advancement in a large insurance leader. Relocation expenses fully covered by employer. Long term growth potential as well as a chance to build a new division from the ground. Compensation up to $250,000 with end of year bonus, travel expense reimbursement, matched 401(k) and tuition reimbursement.
