Position: L2/L3 Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Boston / Westford MA (Hybrid mode)

Mode Contract/C2C



Job Description:

Specific Related Experience:

. Instrument manufacturing engineering experience or equivalent,
preferably medical device or other regulated industry (Mandatory)

. Experience managing OEM and contract manufacturers in addition
to in-house manufacturing (Mandatory)

. Strong project management experience and Lean/Continuous
improvement experience

. SAP/PLM experience beneficial

. Software and optics knowledge beneficial

. Familiarity with various advanced manufacturing process
technologies

. Failure Mode Effect Analysis, statistical process control,
CAPA experience



Responsibilities (Potential)

. Responsible for projects and direct process support related to
the production of instruments at a contract manufacturer and in-house
manufacturing

. Drive efficient and predictable operations including product
transitions, CAPEX management, and supply chain risk mitigation

. Experience in developing, maintaining, and processing changes
to manufacturing procedures, maintenance instructions, and specifications
used in manufacturing

. Identify, Lead and implement projects to reduce cost and
supply chain risk, improve quality and instrument reliability

. Establish and lead governance, SOPs, CAPAs, FMEA, program
management, and KPI including root cause investigation and correction

. Develop measurements and goals aligned with the business;
monitor performance to identify support needs in addressing performance gaps
in plant yields, OEE, machine/personnel utilization, and process controls
