Structural Engineer (Preferably with P.Eng license)

We are looking for a long-term team member. The position requires an individual with initiative and is highly motivated. The team member will be capable of working with minimal supervision.

Our ideal candidate will:
• Work closely with building department within the company to ensure hardware is available for projects and working properly
• Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions including time and scope involved
• Assist other department engineers in creating practical demonstrations of proposed solutions and demonstrating them to other members of the team
• Work alongside project management teams to successfully monitor progress and implementation of initiatives
REQUIREMENTS:
• A valid driver's license
• Knowledge of residential renovations and home construction
• Good knowledge of Ontario Building Code and city By-Laws
• Good time management skills and ability to multitask
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to make smart decisions and problem solve independently
• Able to meet deadline and work under pressure
• Able to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
• Master's degree in Structural Engineering preferred
• Experience with software engineering, customer experience and design architecture
• Preferably with P.Eng license
• At least 1-2 experience as Structural Engineer

• English (Required)
• French
