General Overview
Homethrive is growing, and we need to bring on additional talent to help us on our growth journey! If you are tech savvy, innovative, full-stack polyglot who loves problem-solving and making things work better, let's talk! We love software engineers who have foundational skills and the desire/ability to learn the latest technology. This position can be partial/full remote.

All technology decisions are made together as a team, utilizing the best technological solutions available for the task at hand. We promote an Agile development environment with continuous integration, leveraging communication over documentation, high emphasis on quality, and where the only measurement of progress is working software.

The technology we currently utilize includes:
Golang on the back-end
React.js (w/ Typescript) on the front-end
AWS RDS (MySQL), MongoDB Atlas
Cloud hosting on AWS using a mixture of Docker on Elastic-beanstalk and serverless architecture along with other services like S3, RDS, etc.
Principal Responsibilities
Develop and implement highly-responsive user interface components using React concepts
Develop and implement front-end architecture to support user interface concepts
Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
Meet with different business units to discuss user interface ideas and applications
Document application changes and develop updates
Provide coaching and mentoring to peers
Produce high-quality code with an emphasis on software craftsmanship
Qualifications
Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field of study
5+ years of experience in post-graduate software development (full-time, NON-internship)
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
Thorough understanding of React.js/Typescript and its core principles
Experience mentoring junior software engineers to improve their skills and make them more effective
