Semi-Truck Driver Position

Job Overview
We are searching for a qualified truck driver who will be in charge of making on-time, safe deliveries of commodities and other commercial items to our clients. You'll be responsible for operating and maintaining the vehicles we'll give you, as well as constantly coordinating with our team of dispatchers to map out routes and keep tabs on deliveries. Candidates must complete a drug and alcohol test and have a good driving history to be selected. They will be required to follow traffic regulations and ensure a safe delivery at their destination as part of their employment responsibilities. One of your responsibilities will be to check the truck for any technical problems affecting safety and report it to management. Truck drivers are expected to remain vigilant for issues, regardless of how little they may appear. You must have a valid CDL A license to be considered for this position. Roles and Responsibilities
1. Deliver the load with a close focus on customer satisfaction and safety.
2. Follow all local, state, and federal regulations regarding operating commercial vehicles.
3. Deliver items on time to clients
4. Refuel and wash the truck.
5. Inform the dispatcher of any traffic issues.
6. Log your activities and your hours.
7. Inform maintenance professionals of any mechanical issues.
8. Utilize a GPS to plan routes.
Requirements
1. Class A CDL
2. Age 21 or older
3. No DUI in the previous ten years
4. Experience of at least six months is preferred.
5. A thorough understanding of safety standards and traffic laws
Benefits
Pay: $65,000 - $75,000
Health and Dental after 90 days of employment
