National Division
Shimmick’s National Division operates throughout the central and eastern U.S. Comprised of legacy companies, such as Morrison Knudsen, Washington Group, and others, this division has decades-long history of delivering successful transportation, transit, mining infrastructure, and water resources projects. In addition to state DOTs and transit agencies, the National Division has delivered more than $5 billion in work for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, primarily in the water resources (dams, reservoirs, locks, levees) sector. The National Division is delivering Oklahoma Turnpike Authority’s first build-finance project, the $260 million Gilcrease Expressway project in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
Directs and managers the entire project, guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, and a primary liaison between Shimmick and client interface.
Accountable for all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule.
Overall responsibility and management of project including but not limited to pre-construction budgeting/schedule stage, procurement, through contract closeout.
Position has primary fiscal responsibility and key liaison between client for assigned project.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field + 10 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred Qualifications:
Heavy civil construction project experience
Night time availability for work
Concrete structures, MSE Walls, Rail, Transit, Wastewater
Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong problem-solving skills and consistent attention to detail
