JOB DESCRIPTION

The logistics assistant is responsible in providing administrative support to the logistics, shipping, or transportation departments of the company. They help coordinate the daily operations of a warehouse facility. Their duties may include handling incoming shipments, documenting inventory, and resolving customer service issues.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinating the transport from the vendors to the customers
Tracking the products and ensuring that they are received by the customers in good condition and on time
Performing follow up for daily deliveries and inventories
Customs compliance: support preferential origin calculation for free trades agreements
Providing freight costs from expeditors (UPS, DHL...)
Training on boarding trainees and associates about both the theoretical and practical aspect of sales.
Working with the higher echelons of management to identify new strategies to increase revenue and sales, identify areas for business process improvement
Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the team
REQUIREMENTS

In possession of bachelor’s or master’s degree in International Trade/Supply chain management or similar field
Must be currently residing in the United States of America
Good organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Having a proactive and outgoing attitude and motivated
Analytical person with a sense for accuracy
