Full-time Administrative Assistant #2766

Kiliuda Consulting LLC, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, and government contracting industry leader is looking for a Administrative Assistant to provide support services to satisfy the operational objectives of the Center for Immuno-Oncology, Center for Cancer Research, National Cancer Institute in Bethesda, MD



Responsibilities:

Maintain daily calendar, making appointments for patients on protocol.
Maintain equipment needed for the protocol testing
Arrange for the maintenance and repair of equipment
Create, update, or edit Protocol Reports.
Types, in final or draft form, a variety of correspondence, reports, forms, charts, etc. containing medical, scientific, and technical terminology.
Receive and screen calls from patients for specific protocols
Organizes and maintains the official records for protocol. Locates information from the files as requested by staff members, or in anticipation of a request.
Meets with patients to record in clinic data on both protocols.
Coordinates with multiple teams for patient visits.
Aids in completing anything the research nurses need help with.
When needed coordinate any supplies that need purchasing with the lead Program
Review publication list for senior staff and ensure publications are in Pubmed Central. Submit peer-reviewed manuscripts into the Center for Cancer Research Accepted Publication and/or NIH Manuscript Submission (NIHMS) system if needed.
Perform editorial and technical typical assistance in the development of scientific/medical manuscripts and abstracts, including tables, graphs, illustrations, etc. for publication in national and internal journals and books.


Requirements:

Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a professional administrative setting
Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Strong communications skills, both oral and written.
Knowledge of information retrieval as well as computerized and non-computerized sources of medical literature to conduct extensive research.
Ability to interact professionally and communicate effectively with a wide range of people from senior leaders, distinguished guests, members of the public, and office and laboratory staff
Experience in a clinical/medical setting preferred but not required.
Experience in the federal government setting, NIH experience preferred but not required.
Position is located in Bethesda, MD
