We are looking for a Content Specialist for website maintenance and content creation with a primary focus on the North American sports gambling market. The position will involve writing evergreen SEO content, such as trending sports gambling stories, match predictions, tournament/event previews, sports betting guides and tips, online sportsbook reviews, and much more.

In this position, you will also perform website maintenance tasks, such as auditing, updating, and improving existing content structures according to current SEO guidelines and pinpointing content gaps. Therefore, you will also play a vital role in planning and executing the overall content strategy of each website.

The job description also includes monitoring the sports gambling laws in each US state and Canada and keeping up with the recent legislation changes, online gambling-related trends, and upcoming operators. Thus, a good knowledge of the North American sports gambling industry is required.

Experience in affiliate marketing and knowledge of other major online gambling markets (mainly the UK and Europe) is a plus.

NOTE: In addition to a resume and a cover letter, a sports gambling-related writing sample (500-1,000 words) is required.

Overview of the responsibilities:

- Write engaging SEO-style sports gambling content with a wide range of different sports and sporting events.
- Identify trending topics around the sports world and the sports gambling industry on your own initiative.
- Produce sports gambling-related SEO content such as online sportsbook reviews, betting tips, and more to increase traffic.
- Website maintenance tasks, including auditing, updating, and improving existing content.
- Pinpoint content gaps and expand the evergreen content if needed.
- Monitor all the twists and turns regarding sports gambling legislation in North America and update the website content according to the recent changes.
- Participate in the planning and executing the overall content strategy to improve rankings.

NOTE: The position is also open to applicants that do not currently live in the United States or Canada. However, comprehensive knowledge of the North American sports gambling market is necessary.
