Full-time Accounts and Executive Assistant

Our Client is a Charity specialising in providing high-quality independent living Almshouse accommodation for those of limited financial means. They are searching for an account and executive assistant to work with the leadership team.

The position reports to the Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for providing support in running and maintaining the Charity’s accounts and software systems and data management. This is a crucial role, working with a simply super team and one that contributes directly to the smooth running of the Charity.

Key responsibilities will include using the accounting and other software applications to record data and ensuring that all entries are accurate and up to date, answering and managing telephone calls, the preparation and sending of correspondence relating to financial matters, organising meetings, sending invoices, inputting data to Sage/Xero, collation of reports, preparation of meeting material and filing of electronic records.



This position is office based, in a great location for public transport connections and offices with excellent amenities.

This is a unique and rewarding opportunity and ideally, candidates will have it.

Experience and a solid working knowledge of finance, accounts, IT systems and data management.
Good IT skills working with Microsoft Office packages such as Xero and Sage.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience in using accountancy software and maintaining accounting records.
Experience in customer service and managing enquiries that relate to financial matters.
Knowledge and experience in developing and writing reports and collating financial data to help make decisions and prepare accounts.
Be part qualified or studying for a qualification with the ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
An understanding of GDPR and managing sensitive data in line with requirements.


C £30,000.00 Depending on experience.

Full-time,28 days leave (including bank holidays) pro-rated.
