Our client, Keir & Cawder Estates, is located in Stirling, FK9 4NG.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a friendly, flexible, energetic couple to work in an 11-bedroom family estate in Central Scotland.



As the successful team, you will be responsible for but not exhaustively:

Housekeeping

Running a household, including cleaning, mopping, dusting, tidying, laundry/ironing, bedlinen, making beds

Overviewing the properness of the house. An impeccable level of cleanliness and organisation of the household (including wardrobe maintenance, watering plants, etc)

Cooking balanced meals with fresh, healthy ingredients is an essential element of the family

The cook does not have to possess restaurant chef qualities, but it is of paramount importance that they are a good cook and enjoys cooking as a second nature

Stocking and ensuring kitchen and household items are always available



Handyperson

Conducting DIY/Handyman/woman works, and solid knowledge of working with / maintaining (construction) tools and equipment

I am maintaining a beautiful garden throughout the seasons of the year.

Knowledge and experience working with and maintaining garden tools and machinery

Cutting and pruning, maintaining a vegetable and fruit garden

Maintaining the on-property roads, walk-paths, parking areas, terraces, windows and facades

Do weekly grocery shopping promptly

Responsible for the proper coordination of service providers and other persons entering the property, as well as receiving postal mail, and delivering packages



Key Skills:

Experience in working for families as a live-in team is required, but most important is a happy attitude towards life, with a proactive and intuitive mindset

Both candidates need to have pleasure in conducting their tasks well and strive for perfection that what is their domain, namely ensuring a clean, pleasant, and properly working and maintained property

The Couple must be able to work steady and independently, especially after a start-up period

A driver's licence is required.



Working Week:

When family are away, a normal working week is to be expected.

When families are in residence, flexibility is a must, as long hours will be required.



Remuneration:

The combined gross salary range is between £40,000 - £50,000

All living costs such as gas, water, electricity, and internet for the freshly renovated, spacious and private cottage will be covered by the employer, as well as job-related fuel expenses when their car is used.



Accommodation:

A Beautiful Cottage will be provided along with all costs of living.
