Class A/B Tank Wagon Driver- Commercial and Industrial

The Driver position will make deliveries of package petroleum and/or Bulk lubricant products to Heavy Duty commercial and industrial accounts. The Driver will be required to drive one or more different configurations of vehicle (e.g., tank wagon, Box Truck etc.) It is helpful if driver is also willing to assist with fuel deliveries from time to time.

$4,000.00 Retention Sign Bonus is available.

Job Type: DIRECT JOB PLACEMENT

Responsibilities but no limited to:

Will be delivering bulk petroleum products to customer sites in compliance with state and federal regulations and all Company operational and safety policies and procedures.
Must maintain truck and delivery logs in compliance with state and federal regulations; conduct required pre- and post-trip inspections.
Will be required to communicate customer needs and inquiries to appropriate departments for follow up.
Must perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required, assigned or requested.

Minimum Requirements:

Class A/B commercial driver’s license required.
Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience, obtained within the past 3 years.
HazMat endorsements required.
Review of current 1 year DOT medical card and physical long forms.
Ability to pass DOT pre-employment screenings including but not limited to DOT drug test, MVR,physical, Background, Inspection Report, Clearinghouse, and CMV road test.
Experience performing housekeeping on trucks to maintain good working order, safe conditions, and cleanliness.
No more than one moving violation in the last 3 years+
Must be able to obtain TWIC Card
Ability to maintain authorization to obtain fuel at loading racks as required.
Eligible to work in United States and Canada
Education:

High school diploma or GED preferred
Working Conditions:

Must have the ability to walk, bend, reach, push, pull, stoop, squat, and climb, as required, in order to perform required vehicle inspections.
Must be able to frequently climb in and out of a large truck with ease.
Must have flexibility on schedule as extended schedule may be required as dictated by management and business needs.
Must have the ability to safely lift, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50pounds.
Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions (snow, ice, heat, winds) if required.
Remote locations.
Must have the ability to climb ladders to inspect inside the cargo tank following loading or unloading.
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time in a truck and be able to drive, for as many as 11 hours while transporting lubricant and other industry products.
Must have the ability to meet the physical requirements of the job, including walking and prolonged sitting. ability to comply with the physical requirements as defined by the Department of Transportation.
Salary:

$27-$32/ HR
