Lead Business Analyst needs 7+ years’ business experience and asset management required
Lead Business Analyst requires:
• Excellent communication (written and oral) with senior leaders and peers, facilitation, interpersonal and collaborative skills
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
• 7+ years of relevant work experience
• 4+ years or experience in Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL
• Ability to understand complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Experience in Capital Markets and Asset/Wealth Management Industry.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and conceptual skills
• Self-directed, self-starter, and motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
• Solid technology background, including an understanding of technology-governance frameworks, and applications used in financial services
•
• Role locations NJ/NY/Charlotte
• Responsive and proactive in answering questions
• Exposure to Eagle Pace/STAR Accounting System.
• Exposure to Business Intelligence tools such as OBIEE, Tableau or Power BI.
• Broad knowledge of Investment Management industry operations, investing strategies, distribution channels, and business control and support functions
• Working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence preferred
• Business analysis skills that includes talking to business and converting requirements to BRD and validating what developers did.
• Medium to high level SQL skills - MUST
• Working in Agile methodology or participation in scrum calls and meetings
• Asset Management experience is a must ( both Publics and Privates but Publics preferable)
Lead Business Analyst duties:
 Document requirements, defines scope and objectives, and formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies
 Designs, modifies, develops and writes requirements and specifications of software programming applications
 Diagnose, analyze and solve application and data issues.
 Coordinate applications release including any change management related tasks and documentation
 Support the group’s DR, Risk assessments and change control process
 Provide application support for business units.
