Job Description



Trillium Technical is looking for a Data Warehouse Developer in Quincy, MA!



The Data Warehouse Report Developer will support existing warehouse
analytics and provide input on best practices and potential efficiencies,
work on multiple assignments concurrently to meet aggressive due dates,
uses a range of expert technical skills based on a keen knowledge of data
warehouse concepts, and must be highly proficient with Oracle SQL. This
resource needs to have extensive experience querying tables and views to
develop, enhance, and update new and existing reports. This resource will
also be responsible for the development of data visualizations using
contemporary business intelligence (BI) tools like Tableau, Cognos,
Snowflake, and/or SAS.



JOB DUTIES:

?Develop reports and data visualizations using Tableau Server

?Perform ETL development and manage data exchange on AWS and Azure platforms

?Provide ad-hoc reports and extract based on user requests

?Provide gap analysis of current data extract process

?Identify remediation of data extract process gaps and propose solutions

?Validate results of all extracts and reports

?Interact on a professional basis with internal and external staff in a
personable manner

?Develop reports for general, financial, clinical and case management,
Managed Care, and Health Care and payment Reform purpose as requested.

?Support on-going development of cost, utilization and other reporting
metrics, including collaboration with business program managers

?Communicate business requirements to Cognos and Oracle developers and work
with them to implement solutions for the business community.

?Communicate progress, or impediments to progress, to users and managers.

?Recode existing macro-based code, including remediation as approved

?Review technical documents and test plans, test results and coordinate
implementation activities with end-users and MassHealth Data Warehouse staff

?Organize and maintain workload and work independently with limited
supervision

?Participate in, and contribute to, team projects and meetings



Qualifications



?Mange assigned requests from a variety of diverse business users.

?Understand business requirements, and regulatory needs and their impact on
business and DW

?Maintain comprehensive code and documentation consistent with DW practice
and policy

?Generate accurate queries and outputs consistently and under pressure

?Evaluation requests, gather business requirements and creatively develop
solutions, generating accurate queries and outputs consistently and under
pressure

?Improve and innovation processes and programs that meeting user needs

?Produce standard and ADHOC reports using various tools and data sources

?Conduct advanced data mining in a timely and accurate manner as required

?Produce business and system documentation based on standards

?BS in Computer Science, related degree, or equivalent experience

?Extensive SQL experience within a data warehouse environment required

?3+ years? experience working as a programmer/developer, preferably in
healthcare
