Our client is a Charity which specialises in the provision of high-quality independent living accommodation for those of limited financial means.

They are searching for a qualified Finance Manager to work with their leadership team, based in Westminster.

The position reports to the Clerk to the Trustees and is responsible for running and maintaining the Charitys financial matters and records, including the production of the management accounts and preparation of the draft annual report. This is a key role, working with a great team and one that contributes directly to the smooth running of the Charity.

Job Purpose:

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and key financial processes.

Produce accurate and timely monthly accounts and manage payroll

Develop quarterly reports, annual budgets, accounts and cash flow forecasts.

Produce the required documents and processes for audit partners.

Partner with Charity bankers, accountants, insurers, and investment managers to monitor and help manage Charity funds, assets, policies and investments.

Work with Charitys key partners to ensure that all governance and compliance matters are fulfilled.

Work effectively with the team, stakeholders and residents on a day-to-day basis.

Position Requirements:

A track record of working in finance and teamwork.

Excellent business acumen and commercial skills.

Have a high level of interpersonal, and communication skills with a can-do attitude.

Be a self-starter with excellent time-management, and problem-solving skills.

A solid educational background ideally with financial qualifications.


Salary Circa £ 55,000.00 Pro-rated for one day per week.

This position is office based with some flexibility for occasional remote working, in a great location for public transport connections.
