Full-time Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer

We have an immediate opening for a Funeral Director / Embalmer at Sharp Funeral Homes, Genesee County, MI. The firm has a very capable and professional staff with good chemistry and culture, a focused community outreach program, and a commitment to providing the best services and facilities support in the area.

The successful applicant must excel in his/her abilities as a funeral director/embalmer demonstrating high aptitude in both cremation and burial arrangements, be competent in basic computer skills and applications, and have a demonstrated commitment to community involvement. Must have or be able to obtain MI licenses.

Compensation is very competitive, but the more experience as a licensed funeral director/embalmer, the greater the potential for higher starting pay.

This position interacts directly with client families during their time of need and is responsible for creating and maintaining a premier level of client family satisfaction.

Requirements & Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Must have the State of Michigan funeral licensure or the ability to reciprocate license from another state
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with families during time of need and create and maintain a premier level of client family satisfaction
- Proficient with computers and technology with knowledge of MS Office Tools
- Ability to manage a caseload while creating an exceptional customer experience
- Excellent driving skills and record

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
