Azure Cyber Security Lead/Engineer



- 10+ years? experience in IT along with minimum of 6+ years of
experience in Azure Cloud.
- Experience in Terraform, Infrastructure of a Code, JSON, PowerShell
scripting is desired.
- Contributes to the designs and deployment of policy definitions
(policies), policy set definitions, initiatives meeting standardization,
consolidation, TCO, etc. for ALL Azure services/resources.
- Rules for real-time alerting in SIEM tool for events, security,
regulatory compliance and application system qualities, for different
businesses.
- Required Technical Skill Set MS Azure Security, Azure AD along with
hands-on experience with Azure Architecture, design, implementation /
configuration and management of MS Azure security services like Security
Center, Privileged identity Management, Identity Protection, Azure
Information Protection, RMS, Role Based Access Control, proper use of
endpoint controls, storage account controls, Resource Groups, Network
Security Groups.
- Perform Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and Dynamic
Application Security Testing (DAST) to identify potential vulnerabilities.
- Experience with Microsoft Identity and Access Management products,
Microsoft Azure Operational and Monitoring tools, including Azure Monitor,
App Insights and Log Analytics.
- Deep domain expertise of cloud infrastructure solutions (i.e., AMI
Packers, Windows and Linux IaaS, SAP, BCDR, Security, Management, Storage,
Networking, OSS, containers and Infra as a code technologies)
- Expertise with AD domain administration for global infrastructure
covering on-premises, Azure, AWS, Okta use cases, AD group automation and
integration with cloud services


- Management of AD policies, groups and users for a secure
multi-subscription Azure environment
- Implement policies across Azure to control resources and services to
type and geo-locations


- Review policies and procedures for compliance with applicable
standards; and to identify areas of improvement for finding remediation
- Subject matter expertise in implementing Azure security controls that
protect identity, access, data, applications, and networks in cloud and
hybrid environments as part of an end-to-end infrastructure.
- Manage the security posture, identifying and remediating
vulnerabilities, performing threat modeling, implementing threat
protection, and responding to security incident escalations.
- Designs a Zero Trust strategy and architecture, including security
strategies for data, applications, access management, identity, and
infrastructure.
- Evaluate Governance Risk Compliance (GRC) technical strategies and
security operations strategies, Design security for infrastructure,
strategy for data and applications and recommend security best practices
and priorities.
- Good understanding in Azure respective to specialized data
classifications, data encryption methods, data protection mechanisms,
secure Internet protocols, security services and two or more years of
production deployment experience using Azure security services and features.
- Enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud and hybrid
infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, and technology management
- Experience and understanding of large-scale application portfolios in
enterprise-wide environments (including migration of on-premises workloads
to the cloud)
- Experience with handling incidents, security monitoring including log
aggregation/centralization, Dashboards, correlation, and alerting of
security events and incidents.
- Provide Operational support for Security Operations related activities
that can include, but not limited to creating queries for specific audit
reports based on auditable events criteria.
- Configure and manage Azure Security Center, participates in the
incident response and investigation process.


- Strong understand of network and security concepts: routing, name
services, security groups, ports and protocols
- Identifying, analyzing, and resolving infrastructure vulnerabilities
and application deployment issues.
- Experience in advising, implementing or supporting third party cloud
security solutions for clients.
- Certifications: ANY Microsoft Azure Certification, CCSK, CISSP and
similar are an advantage
