Position: Data Analyst

Location: Owings Mills, MD (hybrid)



Interview: Zoom



Responsible for the following: This is a senior level position so
candidate must be stellar

? Identifying installation solutions for new databases

? Determining the requirements for a new database

? Publishing and/or presenting design reports

? Producing Architecture diagrams/proof of concepts

? Identifying areas for improvement in current systems

? Coordinating with other team members to reach project
milestones and deadlines

? Auditing database regularly to maintain quality

? Creating systems to keep data secure



Education and Work Experience:

? A Bachelor?s Degree in a technology area of study; preferably
in Computer Science, MIS or Analytics

? Solid experience in Data domain and it?s underlying
capabilities

? 10+ years equivalent work experience

? 5+ years of experience in Data Analysis, Data Architecture
and/or Data Warehousing; preferably in on AWS technology stack or shared
enterprise data environment

? Experience with defining patterns/practices/concepts

? Experience with data quality, data security, data analytics

? 5+ years of hands-on relational, dimensional, and/or analytic
experience (using RDBMS, dimensional, NoSQL data platform technologies, and
ETL/ data ingestion protocols).

? 5 + years of experience in ETL Development/ Architecture and
ETL Tools

? 3 + Experience in architecting data processing applications
in cloud hosted infrastructures and cloud services (such as AWS, Azure
etc.)

? Experience with migration of on-prem databases to AWS
Postgres, Snap Logic, Aurora DB or Snowflake DB, Glue etc.

? Experience with database performance tuning, memory
optimization, partitioning etc.

? Deep experience in logical, physical and semantic data
modeling of structured and unstructured data

? Exposure to Mainframe is a plus

? CRM experience such as Adobe or Salesforce is helpful

? Experience with multiple SDLC methodologies ? Waterfall and
Agile

? Ability to clearly communicate complex technical ideas,
regardless of the technical capacity of the audience

? Strong inter-personal skills and ability to work as part of a
team

? Ability to quickly learn and adapt modeling methods from case
studies or other proven approaches
