Our client has been providing logistical support for clients across the South East

They are now looking to recruit a new logistics manager to further the growth of the business.



As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for the management of the current team as well as helping with the recruitment and retention of additional team members.

With the expansion of the business, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing logistical operational standards in terms of time, quality and cost.



You will directly manage the on-site teams. The teams are currently located at their client's sites and you will be responsible for managing them and their workload.


You will be responsible for the operational performance of the site in all areas with the goal of achieving the agreed SLAs

You will further develop the relationship with the clients and manage their expectations.

You will prepare forecasts and plan for the required capacities at their sites

You will continuously develop processes in the sense of a continuous improvement process

You will introduce new technologies to enhance their services and capabilities for the (end) customer

You will support the onboarding of new customers

Have been working in a logistic or production environment for about 5 years and have experience and success in managing daily operations as well as in implementing continuous improvement projects.

Ideally already have leadership experience in a logistic environment and have shown in the past to engage and develop teams.

You are used to working in a fast-changing environment and have a strong hands-on and can-do mentality.

You are an excellent communicator (verbal and written) in English and have already shown this in a multi-stakeholder environment. (Other European languages are welcome but not required)
