Job Description:
If you want to make a positive impact in the lives of Oklahomans, join us at the Center for Public Management (CPM) because that is what we do daily. CPM is a department within the College of Continuing Education at the University of Oklahoma. We provide public sector agencies, staff, service providers, clients and community partners training, research and consultant support for professional and programmatic development. We deliver cost-effective, customer-oriented solutions that are tailored to meet unique needs and situations.

The Manager provides strategic direction and program management for the design, development, delivery and evaluation of Child Welfare New Specialists training; manages staff and oversees contract deliverables for the DHS Child Welfare New Specialist training program.

This position may be eligible for limited remote or hybrid work.

Job Requirements:
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree. AND:
48 months of program development, program management or related experience.
Equivalency:
Will accept 48 months of related experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree for a total of 96 months of related experience.

Skills:
Able to manage comprehensive learning programs and deliverables.
Able to build and foster positive relationships with customers, trainers and staff
Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines
Able to effectively partner and collaborate with customers, interdepartmental teams and vendors
Able to read and interpret policy as well as State and Federal regulations
Able to effectively evaluate projects and programs and produce comprehensive reports
Able to supervise staff and communicate directions and expectations effectively
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Strong initiative to solve problems

Certifications:
Valid Driver's License

Advertised Physical Requirements:
Ability to engage in repetitive motions.
Standard Office Environment.
Frequent exposure to pressure caused by deadlines and busy periods.
May be required to travel.
May require contact with other departments and university officials.
