Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $15.50 - $18.00 / Hour
What you'll be doing as a Cabinet Maker:

• Assisting client with building and installing cabinets.
• Must be able to follow directions, know how to use a drill and know how to read and use tape measure.
• Be able to read and manufacture shop drawings with minimal supervision and apply a working knowledge of the methods, equipment, materials, and tools to fabricate and install highly complex, craftsman-quality exhibits for the museum and exhibition industry.
• Work with an array of standard and specialized materials including, but not limited to wood, plastic, acrylics, metals, laminate, solid surface, etc.
• Assure quality workmanship consistent with project requirements and standards.
• Thorough working knowledge of OSHA regulations, practices, and precautions applicable to the trade.
• As a member of the installation team, travel to museum and exhibit locations around the US for extended periods can be expected.

Job requirements:

• Strong work ethic
• Custom Millwork experience
• Experienced Hand drill & power tools
• High School diploma or GED; higher education desirable.
• Knowledge and understanding of the hardware and building materials used in custom fabrication.
• Ability to interpret and work from sketches, blueprints, or detailed drawings.
• OSHA-10 or -30 Certification (Construction or General Industry) a plus.
• Conduct themselves professionally with co-workers, supervisors, and all other team members
• Available to work overtime and weekends, as required.
