Project Manager Lead /Water Treatment Solutions

Lead the development of processes and support documents aimed to ensure successful execution of NEWS projects. Ensure NEWS team utilizes processes and documents correctly.

Lead the execution/project management of NEWS projects. Coordinate installation plans with the NEWS team. Lead the procurement of install equipment. Lead the organization and analysis of NEWS project data. Manage remote monitoring for NEWS projects and coordinate efforts to address any issues detected by remote monitoring equipment. Project management would also include control of project costs, quality, and customer equipment and jobsite safety.

Coordinate plans with the NEWS team, Aftermarket Account Coordinators/Managers, the New Products Group, and external stakeholders.

Manage relationships and support of projects after execution.

Assist with the development of marketing efforts

Provide organization for NEWS sales and projects.

Support the development and management of proposals.

Coordinate activities aimed to ensure group strategy is executed.

Essential Responsibilities:

Develop NEWS processes and support documents and ensure utilization.

Lead procurement of NEWS projects.

Manage execution of NEWS projects

Coordinate plans with all internal and external stakeholders.

Manage relationships and support of projects after execution

Assist with marketing, business development/sales organization, overall group strategy execution, and other activities required to grow NEWS.

Required Knowledge:

Water treatment, water chemistry, chemical treatment, cooling water system, filtration, wastewater, or other water-industry related.
knowledge of process standardization, formatting, and creation of support documentation.
Knowledge of methods of process implementation
Knowledge of project management
Mechanical skill (able to understand how things work and find solutions to problems).
Knowledge of excel and familiarity with data manipulation and analysis.
Some understanding of costing and budgeting of projects and the associated risks.

Required Skills or Abilities:

Must be a self-starter and able to work independently. Good communication necessary both externally with customers and vendors and internally with team members and other employees.
Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills to allow multiple tasks and projects to be managed effectively.
Ability to complete routine tasks including but not limited to processing of requisitions for inquiry and purchase, review of purchase orders, and issuing of purchasing and commercial documents.
Ability to review customer and N/E specifications in order to fully detail requirements to fabricators and subcontractors.
Ability to review N/E drawings and supplier's fabrication drawings to ensure projects requirements are met.
Experience with management of projects requiring material purchase, subcontract fabrication and field erection, and in house engineering and drawings.

Formal Education: 4 Year College Degree as a minimum. Ideal education would be a Bachelor of Science from an accredited engineering school, BS in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering preferred.

Experience: 2+ years professional experience, ideally in a water-related job.
