Pay: $20/hr (Full-time or part-time)
World Action Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to making a positive impact in the world, is seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a Fundraising Coordinator. Responsibilities:
1. Placing Donation Boxes: As a Project Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to establish and maintain relationships with local businesses and organizations to secure placements for donation boxes. You will strategically identify suitable locations, negotiate agreements, and coordinate the installation and maintenance of donation boxes in these spaces.
2. Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with business owners, managers, and key stakeholders to promote ongoing collaboration and support for the organization's initiatives. This involves effective communication, regular follow-ups, and providing updates on the impact of their contributions.
3. Fundraising Support: Collaborate with the fundraising team to develop and execute strategies to maximize donation box collections. This may include organizing promotional events, implementing marketing campaigns, and coordinating volunteer efforts.
4. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all donation box placements, collections, and any other relevant information. Prepare regular reports and presentations to share progress, achievements, and challenges with the management team.
Requirements:
1. Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential to effectively engage with potential partners, convey the organization's mission, and build lasting relationships.
2. Self-Motivated and Target-Driven: A proactive and results-oriented individual who can work independently and is motivated by achieving and exceeding targets.
3. Valid Driving License and Access to a Vehicle: The role requires frequent travel to various locations to place and maintain donation boxes. Therefore, a valid driving license and access to a reliable vehicle are necessary.
4. Passion for Social Impact: A genuine interest in making a positive difference in the world and a commitment to the mission and values of World Action Foundation.
5. Training and Mentorship: While previous experience is valued, we are also willing to train and mentor individuals who demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and grow within the organization.
