Full-time Navy Fleet Scheduling Technical Writer (3233)

at Three Saints Bay Family of Companies in Virginia

Eagle Harbor, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking a Navy Fleet Scheduling Technical Writer.



Responsibilities:

Provide scheduling support for the development and maintenance of ship's schedule to facilitate planning within Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC).
Provide scheduling support by successfully load and retrieve data through FTS, Fleet Scheduling Center (FSC) and Visit Analysis Center (VAC).
Provide data and reporting measures related to ship's schedules, identify and correct inaccuracies.
Apply knowledge of the Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual (JFMM) and Ship Force Readiness Manual (SFRM) requirements when developing operational schedules for Submarine, Air, and Surface Ships.
Develop and report weekly schedules for Commander, Naval Surface Force Pacific (CNSP) and Commander Naval Surface Force Atlantic (CNSL) Navy Data Environment (NDE) Chief of Naval Operations (CNO), Continuing Maintenance Availability (CMAV) and Total Ships Readiness Assessment (TSRA) availabilities.
Develop and provide weekly milestone reports for all CNO availabilities.
Maintain an up-to-date list of all Port Engineers (PE) for the entire Fleet.
Provide scheduling support and assistance to Southeast Regional Maintenance Center (SERMC), Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC), Forward Deployed Regional Maintenance Center (FDRMC), Hawaii Regional Maintenance Center (HRMC), Northwest Regional Maintenance Center (NWRMC), and Military Sealift Command (MSC).
Attend meetings related to projects, working groups, initiatives, and technical conferences as required.
Administrative services such as development of flowcharts and presentations, document user-guides processes and business rules.


Requirements:

US Citizen
Active Secret Clearance
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
The Fleet Scheduling Technical Writer MUST have recent and current experience within two years.
Ability to utilize computers including the Microsoft Office Suite for compiling information for reports and history files.
The highly desired Fleet Scheduling Technical Writer will have:
- Knowledge and understanding of Web-Enable Scheduling System (WEBSKED), Navy Data Environment (NDE), and Validation, Screening and Brokering (VSB).
- Knowledge of the Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual (JFMM) and Ship Force Readiness Manual (SFRM).
