Order Writer / Truck Loader
PeopleReady ofConover, NC is now hiring Order Writer / Truck Loaders! For a leading converter and distributor of nonwoven and woven fabrics used in a variety of markets in the Conover, NC area. Any interested candidates must be able to work the entirety of the shift (2:30pm to 10:30pm, Mon through Fri)

Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $16.50 / hour
What you'll be doing as a Order Writer / Truck Loader:

• All associates have the responsibility to identify and stop further processing of non-conformances and take action to prevent non-conformances related to products produced, processes, services provided or the Quality/Environmental Management System.
• All associates have the responsibility to bring forth suggestions and participate in continuous improvement process and verify the implementation of solutions.
• Conform to all quality/safety/environmental requirements and procedures.
• Read and follow instructions on converting orders.
• Pull stock using proper equipment.
• Write up orders.
• Tag freight.
• Load trucks.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workplace.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Department Supervisor.

Available shifts:
Shift Timings: 2nd Shift (Evening)
Job requirements:

• Must be able to operate lift trucks.
• Must have cooperative attitude necessary to work effectively with others.
• Good communication skills (verbal & written).
• Must be able to follow verbal & written Work Instructions.
• Commitment to Management System and Continual Improvement process.
• Ability to lift 75 - 100 pounds.
• Background check and drug screen required
• Customer Specific Orientation Required
