We are currently looking for a qualified Butcher for a full-time position.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Assisting in the day to day operations of the Butcher Department.
• Ensure meat is prepared and packed in accordance with the Forestway Fresh procedures and policies.
• Maintain schedules and routines for a smooth and efficient Butchery operation.
• Ensure recipes, processes and procedures and batch monitoring are always followed to the strictest detail.
• Document HACCP controls and checks.
• Ensure quality product and knife skills are used at all times.
• Ensuring all protocols for food handling and safety are being adhered to.
• Work efficiently and as directed to ensure minimal wastage.
• Adhere to health and safety standards without compromise.
• Assist customers with any meat or small goods related enquiries and orders.
• Ensure that any issues are followed through and are immediately escalated to your department manager if required.
• Fulfil any tasks or duties as required by management and other department managers
Minimum Requirement:
• AQF Certificate III including on-the-job training
• A minimum of 2 years’ industry experience
• Strong Customer Focus and Good Communication Skills
• Maintain professionalism and be a team player in your domain.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure deadlines are met

Job Type: Full Time
Salary Offered: $70,000 to $80, 000 plus superannuation
