Job description

We are looking for individuals that have a passion for travel and love to experience new locations. Being a travel agent means creating memories for others as well as ourselves. If you have a desire to help others fulfill their travel dreams and ambitions, then this opportunity is for you.

Main Duties

- Sell and book all types of travel arrangements such as hotels, car rentals, cruises, airfare, resorts,
wedding/honeymoon destinations, group travel, sports travel, business, and religious travel.
- Handle any issues that may arise on a client's trip.
- Determine client's needs and preferences, such as schedules and costs
- Plan and arrange tour packages, excursions, and day trips
- Find fare and schedule information
- Calculate total travel costs
- Describe trips to clients and advise about local customs and attractions
- Give details on required documents, such as passports and visas, and on complying with cross-
border entry requirements, such as health and safety protocols
- Make alternative booking arrangements if changes arise before or during the trip

Qualifications

- No prior experience necessary - we have an amazing training program and you will have access
to more help and support than you could ever imagine.
- Must be able to work from home in a remote setting with little to no supervision.
- Must have access to a computer, iPad, tablet, or laptop to book travel on.
- Strong interpersonal skills including effective listening and multitasking.
- Display excellent customer service and a genuine desire to assist.
- Have a passion for travel and helping others.

Other Important Qualities

- Communication Skills - Travel agents must listen to clients’ travel needs and offer travel advice
and information that meet those needs.
- Customer Service Skills - Travel agents must be able to interact with clients and respond to
questions and complaints in a friendly, professional manner.
- Detail-Oriented - Travel agents must ensure that the reservations they make are for the dates,
times, and locations that match travelers’ schedules.
- Organizational Skills - Travel agents often work on itineraries for many clients at once. The ability
to keep information in order and ensure that bills and receipts are processed on time is essential.
- Sales Skills - Travel agents must be able to persuade clients to buy transportation, lodging, or
tours.
