at Jobisite in Marinduque

Role

We have an immediate need for an exceptional accountant to assist our clients to reconcile and update their accounting records. This will involve bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable reconciliations, reviewing financial statements and updating accounts where appropriate.

The successful candidate will show attention to detail, have analytical problem-solving skills to resolve accounting issues, take responsibility for their work, be self-motivated and communicate effectively with their manager.

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy (mandatory)
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) (desirable)
Fluent in English both written and spoken (mandatory)
At least 5 years of work experience in accounting (mandatory)
Experience with QuickBooks Online (desirable)
Experience with Xero (desirable)
Moderate skills in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables (desirable)

Responsibilities
Recording of all financial transactions
Investigating anomalies
Processing of invoices and bills
Bank reconciliations
Preparing management reports
Liaising with clients

Initially a work from home role there may be a requirement to be office based in future.
