Full-time Degree Analyst

Summary of Responsibilities:
Processes student records pursuant to degree completion and assists with records maintenance and program review requirements.

Essential Functions:
-Receives, logs, reviews, approves, and processes student records, determinations, and communications. Resolves basic systems users’ issues and program related inquiries.
-Coordinates with lead analysts to develop and maintain effective and accurate communications with the University community and external agencies in accordance with University policy.
-Monitors data reports, notifies lead analysts of issues and corrective action. Assists with the correction and communication of degree determinations
-Assists lead analysts with system maintenance and program information audits

Minimum Education:
High school diploma or equivalent by hire date

Minimum Experience:
Two (2) years of experience in higher education or related field. Every 30 hours of college coursework can be substituted for one (1) year of experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
-Energetic self-starter with highly developed organizational skills
-High attention to detail; ability to detect and correct discrepancies in information or records
-Ability to read, comprehend, and convey written materials for application to work assignments
-Demonstrate a positive, friendly, and professional demeanor in person, phone, and written communications
-Customer service oriented regarding communications with all as well as requesting information needed
-Ability to handle a large volume of records accurately and efficiently, while working under a deadline
-Familiarity with and experience using Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe in a professional setting

Pay Info:
Range beginning point $15.35/hr, adjustable based on experience
