Role: Java Architect with AWS - Hands on

Location: Plano, TX, Austin, TX & Bloomfield, CT

Mode: Currently remote & hybrid onsite after 6 months

Experience Level: 12 to 15 Years

Responsibilities:

Conduct code analysis to understand existing Java codebase, identify areas of
improvement, and propose refactoring solutions.

Design and develop robust and scalable Java applications using Spring Batch
and Spring Integration frameworks.

Solid understanding of application migration strategies and experience in
executing successful migrations from On-Prem/legacy/Monolithic to AWS Cloud.

Lead the migration efforts from legacy XML-based systems to modern JSON-based
data formats.

Implement and integrate AWS services, such as AWS Glue, DynamoDB, and Step
Functions, into the application architecture.

Utilize Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management, ensuring
reliable and efficient deployment of applications.

Modify and enhance existing code to meet evolving business requirements and
optimize performance.

Work closely with the DevOps team to deploy applications and troubleshoot
production issues.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and continuous
integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines

One project experience working with PySpark in AWS environment is a huge plus
