Our client, NYMS Services are a small family-run organisation that owns the Pennine Care Centre. Pennine Care Centre is a 60-bed Residential Care home providing accommodation and care for vulnerable adults who require support around Dementia and Mental Health.

They are looking for a Cook to join the catering team (part-time/permanent)


As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for but not be exclusive :

To ensure the smooth running of the kitchen and meal service is to a high standard

To plan, prepare, and cook a variety of meals that cater to residents’ preferences and special dietary requirements.

Ensure that all kitchen equipment is maintained and in safe working order and report any damage or faults to the Maintenance Person and Home Manager.

To maintain cleaning schedules that meet the requirements of the Food Safety Manual.

As the successful candidate, you will need:

Catering experience

Good communication and a courteous manner.

Excellent time-keeping and ability to multi-task and prioritise where required.

Experience working in a busy catering environment.

To participate in training

You will have:

On-site parking

Access to professional training

Access to health and social care course post level 4, 5, and beyond post probation

Annual leave

Free Uniform.

Enrolment in Company Pensions Scheme



Starting rate: £10.42 p/h raising after probation period (one month)
