Waikiki Health is recruiting for a full time EHR User Support Specialist. This position is the content and user expert of the electronic health record (EHR). The health record includes, but is not limited to: electronic practice management and health record, dental, patient portal, and population health. Primary responsibilities are support, testing, customization, enhancement, implementation of functional and technical aspects of applications. Promote and encourage a “one team” attitude at all levels

Duties include but are not limited to:
• Answer, evaluate, and prioritize requests for assistance from users experiencing problems with clinical applications and other EHR-related applications and technology.
• Assist with creation and maintenance of clinical applications user accounts, roles/permissions.
• Work with department managers on developing clear and concise documentation, instruction manuals.
• Works with Information Technology (IT) staff and external vendors to troubleshoot problems and enhance feasibility of Clinical Information Systems.
• Assist the data analyst on producing reports as requested from EHR, population health software & other clinical application.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• An associate degree to master’s in healthcare and/or Information Technology and/or minimum 4 years of experience in direct patient care (clinical, nursing, or allied health) and/or 2 years of experience in clinical applications support in the healthcare industry and/or education or training in related field, such health informatics, public health, health administration, or other health sciences.
• Demonstration of applicable job experience with satisfactory performance for at least 1 year in a similar position will be considered as a substitute.
• A minimum of three (3) years' experience in clinical and working with Electronic Health Records required.
• Good communication skills with the ability to work well with others and to work independently.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office and/or other database applications in healthcare industry.
• Ability to engage in quality control and facilitate change management.
