Job Title: Design and Release Engineer
Location: Detroit, MI
Hire Type : - Contract

Key skills required:
• Educated to a degree level or higher in an engineering discipline (or similar) with experience in design and development of automotive components using CATIA V5 / NX
• Strong Engineering & technical background including working knowledge of GD&T, DFM and DFA.
• High Voltage / EV / Traction battery Pack design experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of all the EV aggregates and their integration constraint
• Good understanding of the statutory and regulatory requirements of EV and their standards
• Experience in Electro-mechanical vehicle integration with Chassis, Cooling, and Electrical Distribution systems
• In-depth knowledge and experience of DFMEA, APQP, PPAP, and Six Sigma
• Experience in New Product Introduction, reworking design changes, and upgrades through to production
• CAD Tool Expertise: CATIA V5 and NX
• PLM Tool Expertise: Team Center
