Marketing Associate
Location: Garwood, NJ Reports to: Director of Marketing & Sales

We are seeking an entry level person with a marketing background and good organizational and administrative skills to assist us in continuing to raise our profile in the marketplace, generate qualified leads, assist in shaping our online presence. Proficiency in creating and analyzing spreadsheets and quantitative data is essential for interpreting key metrics such as ROI and KPIs. Job Summary:
The Marketing Associate will work to implement advertising campaigns to raise awareness and generate qualified leads for the company. A strong focus of this position will be online/web-based marketing, advertising, lead generation, and data tracking. You will play a crucial role in understanding the complete marketing and sales mix.

Duties/Responsibilities:
The main job functions and responsibilities of the Marketing Associate includes but not limited to the following:

• Manage daily administrative tasks to ensure the Marketing department runs smoothly
• Help run and update Company Social Media Accounts
• Monitor Company website and update product content
• Write compelling, on-brand content for marketing emails and social media posts
• Contribute to the design and content creation for marketing assets, including case studies, blog posts, videos, PowerPoint decks, etc.
• Create advertising material (e.g. brochures and newsletters)
• Conduct market research to identify new opportunities
• Gather and analyze consumer behavior data (e.g. web traffic and rankings)
• Create reports on marketing and sales metrics
• Assist with organizing promotional events
• Keep organized records of marketing metrics and results of past campaigns
• Prepare regular sales and sales forecasting reports
• Gathering competitive intelligence for marketing and pricing strategies (i.e., documenting what competitors are doing to promote their products on various channels)
• Propose, present, and execute creative marketing campaigns and strategy for new and existing product lines
• Outline and develop a digital marketing calendar with input from the Director of Marketing & Sales




Required Skills/Abilities:
• Knowledge of marketing digital tools and techniques.
• Excellent communication, organizational, writing and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical skills with goal-oriented attitude.
• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
• Ability to problem solve.

Education and Experience:
• BS degree in Marketing or relevant field.
• One to three years of proven work experience as a Marketing Associate, Marketing Assistant or similar role.
• Experience with SEO campaigns.
• Fluent in business computer skills (Microsoft Office products, G Suite apps., etc.)
• Solid working knowledge of traditional and digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Facebook Business Ad Management, etc.)
• Experience with successfully handling multiple projects with varied deadlines.

Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to (15) pounds at times
