Full-time Quality Engineer - Switchgear

Job Summary:
As a Switchgear Quality Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our electrical switchgear products. You will work closely with the Quality Assurance team to perform inspections, tests, and audits to verify that our switchgear systems meet industry standards and customer requirements. This role offers an opportunity for professional growth and development within the field of electrical engineering and quality assurance.

Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and implementation of quality control processes for switchgear products, following established standards and regulations.
Perform visual inspections, measurements, and functional tests on switchgear components and assemblies to ensure they meet defined specifications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and testing, to identify and address quality-related issues.
Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes for non-conformances, defects, or customer complaints.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and audits, ensuring documentation is complete and up to date.
Assist in the calibration and maintenance of testing equipment to ensure accurate measurements and consistent results.
Support the creation and review of quality documentation, including work instructions, inspection checklists, and quality reports.
Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to switchgear quality and safety.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably within the electrical equipment or switchgear industry.
Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations, such as IEEE, ANSI, UL, NEC, etc.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address quality issues effectively.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and report findings.
Proficiency in using measurement and testing equipment, as well as quality control tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
