About the job:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Software Developer at Journey West Logistics Inc, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our online logistics management platform and contributing to the ongoing growth and success of our company. You will collaborate with a team of skilled professionals to create innovative solutions that optimize user experiences, streamline processes, and reinforce our position as a leading express logistics company.

Job Duties:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze software requirements, translating them into effective technical solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain software applications, ensuring they meet quality standards and contribute to the overall architecture.
• Utilize programming languages and development frameworks to implement new features and enhancements on our logistics management platform.
• Conduct thorough testing, including unit testing and integration testing, to ensure software functionality, performance, and security.
• Debug and troubleshoot software defects, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Contribute to code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to improve code quality.
• Participate in agile development practices, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Create user-friendly interfaces and optimize user experiences.
• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to continually improve and innovate our software solutions.
• Performs other duties as required

Skills and Qualifications
• 5+ years in software development
• Bachelor’s degree
• Proven experience in software development with proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Excellent communication skills and a keen attention to detail
