Intermediate Interior Designer

Kanika Design is an interior design firm based in the San Francisco bay area. We offer full service residential and commercial interior design services. Our team is experienced and passionate about interior design and always strives towards the highest quality of service and design outcome for every space.

Kanika Design is growing and we are on the lookout for a talented intermediate interior designer to join our team. This position is open for part-time or full-time designers with a background in residential or commercial interior design.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Managing ongoing projects
- Developing design sketches, layouts, and details
- Researching and selecting FF&E and FF&A for projects
- Assisting design and implementation of custom furniture and millwork
- Preparing client budgets and specifications for purchases as needed
- Drafting construction documents

QUALIFICATIONS

- 4+ years of residential or commercial interior design experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, or equivalent experience
- Ability to independently drive a project from start to finish
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in SketchUp, AutoCAD or similar tools
