Full-time COBOL CICS Engineer, PAYS $70/HR

COBOL CICS Engineer needs 6+ years’ experience
COBOL CICS Engineer requires:
 COBOL, CICS, VSAM, MQ, JCL,
 Knowledge of SQL Server, Java

COBOL CICS Engineer duties:
 Develop from scratch CICS programs that can facilitate read/write to both VSAM and MQ in the same program
 Write CICS programs that can orchestrate the execution of both legacy and new CICS transactions in the same unit of work
 Analyze and decompose complex CICS software systems and collaborate with and influence others to improve the overall design
 Serve as the SME in CICS Development and Support
 Troubleshoot and fix financial software problems as they occur
 Make recommendations to Production Support, Development, and IT Management to streamline infrastructure and application performance to improve the overall customer experience
 Act as a key advisor to Technical Leads, Senior IT team members on Infrastructure and Architecture projects
 Guide and participate in training other members of the team
