Waikiki Health is seeking a full time Maintenance Specialist
Pay range for this role is $18-$23 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am – 4:30pm

The Maintenance Specialist performs needed repairs and improvements at Keauhou Shelter. Ability to work under minimal supervision is required.

Qualifications and abilities
● High school diploma required.
● Minimum two years of work experience in repair and maintenance work, including one year of experience working with plumbing and electrical work.
● Must have a valid driver license.
● Must be organized and able to complete all assigned tasks.
● Must be able to lift 50 pounds from the ground.
● Must be proficient in the latest version of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft
● PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook.

General Duties include but are not limited to
● Maintains tools and equipment for the purpose of ensuring the availability of equipment in safe operating condition.
● Ensure that laundry facilities and machines are working properly.
● Coordinate repairs, services, and payment with outside vendors
● Responds to emergency repair situations to ensure immediate safety of property/individuals and compliance with safety regulations.
● Perform minor plumbing repairs of limited difficulty such as tightening or replacing in-kind fittings and fixtures.
● Assist Housing First Manager in ensuring compliance of the facility.
● Other duties as assigned
