Our client, Moorland Garden Nursing Home, is committed to providing the highest quality care to our residents. Their beautiful facility is nestled in the serene countryside, offering a peaceful and picturesque work environment.

They are looking for a Part time Gardener to join the team in Yelverton, PL20 6DA



As the successful candidate, your responsibilities will include :



Planning and maintaining the moorland garden to create a therapeutic and inviting outdoor environment for residents.

Planting cultivating, and caring for flowers, shrubs, and trees suitable for the moorland climate.

Collaborating with the activities team to organise gardening-related events for residents.

Ensuring the garden is accessible and safe for residents with limited mobility.

Implementing sustainable gardening practices and contributing to the overall aesthetic appeal of the nursing home.



As the successful candidate, You should have:

Proven experience as a gardener.

Knowledge of plants suitable for moorland climates and an understanding of the unique challenges they present.

Ability to design and implement seasonal garden plans.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with residents and staff.

Commitment to creating a positive and therapeutic outdoor space for residents.
