Our client, NYMS Services, have a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Manager in Glossop, commutable from Manchester, Derbyshire and Sheffield.

About our client:

NYMS Services are a small family run organisation who own the 60 bed Residential Care hHome providing care and support for vulnerable adults who require support around Dementia and Mental Health. Having undergone a major change management program the Service is growing from strength to strength and has achieved a positive rating in the recent CQC inspection.

They are keen to appoint a competent and an experienced Registered Manager to work alongside the Business Manager and the Unit Manager(s) to lead the team(s) to deliver high quality care services for residents and achieve CQC compliance.

The Role

They are looking for a Registered Manager with business acumen who shares their values to join them on this thrilling journey. Working closely with the Business Manager and Directors, you will have autonomy and play a pivotal role in shaping and promoting the growth of the home whilst cultivating a positive work environment to secure positive outcomes for residents.

In addition to a dedicated HR partner and finance team, the operational teams consist of an in-house Trainer, Unit Managers, Activity Manager, Kitchen Manager, Care Teams, Support Workers and Ancillary Teams, the organisation are committed to providing you with a support framework that will ensure you have the necessary resources and assistance to succeed in this role.

As the Registered Manager, you will own the responsibility of ensuring high occupancy levels are achieved consistently; complying with all relevant regulatory requirements, maintaining quality assurance & internal governance, and proactively analysing, and improving services, systems, and resources to ensure that the home reaches its full potential.

The Candidate

Passionate about providing the utmost care to the residents

Developing and maintaining a strong relationship with stakeholders

At least two years experience as a Registered Manager for a large home

Proven CQC history or the ability to demonstrate an improvement in CQC ratings

The ability to establish connections with external agencies

Good leadership skills with the ability to train and lead the team to achieve compliance

Driving licence

Reside within a reasonable commuting distance or are willing to relocate

Salary up to £45K plus bonus, depending on experience
