Full-time Office Assistant

at Jobisite in New Jersey

We are looking for an Office Assistant to join our team and play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our eCommerce company. As the CEO is the sole in-house member of our team, you will be the right hand in ensuring the smooth functioning of our office, overseeing various essential tasks.

1. Streamline and enhance the efficiency of our office operations.
2. Support the CEO in managing various aspects of our eCommerce business, including shipping, inventory, and data management.
3. Maintain a well-organized and productive office environment.
4. Assist in coordinating with potential content creators or interns as needed.

Key responsibilities:
1. Shipping & Receiving. Oversee the shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
2. Inventory Management. Manage and maintain inventory levels, helping to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
FBA Shipments. Handle Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) shipments, coordinating with Amazon as necessary.
3. Sample Database & Evaluation. Maintain a sample database, evaluate samples as required, and keep records.
4. Supplies Management. Ensure office supplies are well-stocked, placing orders when necessary.
5. Organization. Implement and maintain an organized office space, including filing systems and records.
6. Coordination. Potentially liaise with interns or local hires for content creation projects, ensuring smooth collaboration.
7. Administrative Support. Assist in maintaining and updating filing systems, databases, and records.
8. Clerical Tasks. Perform other clerical tasks and support functions as assigned by the CEO.

Software/Tools:
- Proficiency in Google Workspace tools and applications.

Skill set:
- Basic understanding of eCommerce platforms and processes.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in tasks.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new processes and responsibilities.

Experience:
- Previous experience in an administrative or office support role is preferred but not mandatory. However, familiarity with office procedures and protocols is necessary. Training will be provided to the selected candidate to ensure they can effectively perform their duties.
