Admissions Advisor

The University of Nicosia (UNIC) (www.unic.ac.cy) is a leading research university ranked in the Top 2% globally (501-600) by the 2024 edition of Times Higher Education World University Rankings.

UNIC Health, supporting the strategic growth of its Medical and Veterinary Schools, seeks an Admissions Advisor based in Australia to join its Admissions Team.

Main Responsibilities:

• Support recruitment targets of UNIC Health’s programs.
• Understand and advise on UNIC Health admissions policies and criteria.
• Guide applicants on course options and manage admissions processes fairly.
• Serve as a liaison for prospective students, parents, teachers, and advisors.
• Process applications, conduct interviews and maintain records.
• Promote UNIC Health in Australia, New Zealand, and select Asian countries.
• Lead recruitment events (e.g. student fairs, physical and virtual open day events, high school visits, etc.) and partner with education agents.
• Engage with educational and community organizations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (postgraduate preferred).
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sales/marketing or business development; higher
education admissions experience will be considered an advantage.
• Sales and marketing skills and a history of meeting targets.
• Knowledge of higher education policies/regulations; willingness to learn.
• Independent, initiative-taking, and analytical.
• Fluent in English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Able to work with diverse stakeholders, detail-oriented, and problem-solving.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
• Integrity, confidentiality management, and customer service focus.
• Availability for overseas travel and flexible hours during peak enrolment season.

The ideal candidate should be eligible to work in Australia.
