Full-time Paid Human Factors Study with Design Science

Design Science, a medical research company, is preparing a simulated study for a biotech/biomed client to evaluate new medical products for FDA approval.

Study: Autoinjector Study
Who: Asthma, Urticaria, or Chronic Rhinosinusitis with Nasal Polyp Adolescent Patients 12 -17 Years Old
- Looking for participants with prior experience of administering medicine to themselves or someone else with an injector
When: April 8, 2024 - April 10, 2024 (morning, noon, and evening slots available)
Where: Design Science’s Usability Labs – 123 S Broad St, Suite 1350, Philadelphia, PA 19109
Pay: $175 for a 75-minute in-person session

This is a simulated session meaning you will not be taking or administering any medications or injections. Participants will provide feedback on an autoinjector device. The devices used during the study will be functional. However, the devices will not be used on humans. You will be guided through the process and perform different tasks. During the product evaluation, participants will simulate using the device/product and provide feedback about it, itÂ’s usability and instructions.

We are working to ensure products are easy to use and instructions are easy to understand. We gather feedback from potential users that will help to improve the usability and design of new products.
