We are hiring a Data Transmission Engineer (IBM Sterling).
Location: Atlanta, GA 30303 (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 Months
We are looking for an experienced Data Transmission Engineer with strong expertise in IBM Sterling File Gateway and B2B Integrator platforms. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in infrastructure support, installation, configuration, and production support within enterprise data transmission environments.

Infrastructure Support & System Configuration
Responsibilities:
Install, upgrade, configure, and support Sterling File Gateway (SFG) infrastructure
Provide third-level production support (24/7) for data transmission systems
Support environmental changes including requirement gathering for system updates
Monitor infrastructure performance and identify areas for improvement
Ensure security compliance across Sterling integrations and environments
Troubleshoot system issues and recommend solutions to prevent failures
Participate in project status meetings and collaborate with technical teams
Requirements:
35+ years of experience with SFG/B2B Integrator, Sterling Secure Proxy, SEAS, and Control Center
Experience installing, administering, and configuring Sterling platforms
Understanding of network protocols, firewall configuration, and security concepts
Experience with IBM mainframe, Windows, and Linux system administration
Knowledge of security certificates and secure file transmission
Experience supporting production environments
Experience Required: 5+ years
