Hiring: AVD VDI Engineer (Azure Virtual Desktop)

We are seeking a highly skilled AVD Engineer to lead the architecture, automation, and optimization of enterprise cloud desktop environments. This role requires deep expertise in Azure Virtual Desktop, Nerdio automation, and PowerShell scripting to deliver scalable and high-performance virtual desktop solutions.

Key Skills Required:

Strong experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Azure Infrastructure
Hands-on expertise with Nerdio Manager for Enterprise
Experience with FSLogix profile and ODFC container management
Advanced proficiency in PowerShell scripting
Strong understanding of Azure networking (VNets, NSGs, Private Endpoints) and Entra ID
Experience working in ITIL environments with tools like ServiceNow

Key Responsibilities:

Architect and deploy scalable AVD host pools using ARM/Bicep templates
Manage automation and cost optimization using Nerdio Manager
Design and troubleshoot FSLogix profiles for optimized user experience
Develop PowerShell scripts for automation, deployments, and monitoring
Act as Tier 3 escalation for complex VDI issues and performance challenges
Engineer and maintain secure “Golden Images” for Windows multi-session environments
Manage versioning using Azure Compute Gallery
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical leadership

Additional Details:

Strong communication skills required for stakeholder interactions
Focus on performance optimization, cost efficiency, and scalability
Experience in large-scale enterprise environments preferred
