Full-time Director of Pharmacy

at Ignite Recruitment in Oregon

Ignite Recruitment is currently helping a helath care provider fill an open Pharmacy Director Position. We are looking for someone who can provided administrative oversight for the operations and strategic direction of the pharmacy.

This positions offers a $10,000 Signing Bonus, Possible Relocation Assistance, and Annual Bonuses. If you have clinical experience and supervisory experience in a Pharamacy setting then you should apply to this position.


SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Working knowledge of but not limited to: label maker, unit-dose packaging machine, heat-sealer for single unit dose packaging, cassette drawers, automated dispensing system and vertical/horizontal intravenous hoods
- Demonstrates the ability to use a personal computer and various software programs applicable to the position
- Demonstrates the ability to operate applicable office equipment
- Exhibits the ability to deal effectively interdepartmentally & with the public
- Exhibits the ability to maintain confidentiality, think and act independently with minimal supervision
- Demonstrates strong financial management and organizational skills and proven leadership ability
- Maintains regular, consistent and punctual attendance at the assigned job location


EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES/DEGREES
Required:
- Current Oregon Pharmacist licensure (before start date)
- PICC training and Certification
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS)
Nice to have:
- Pharm D
- Master of Science in Health Care Administration or related field
- Completion of an ASHP accredited residency program

EXPERIENCE
Required:
- Five years of clinical experience
- Three years of supervisory experience in an acute care Pharmacy setting
Nice to have:
- Hospital Experience

Benefits: Yes
Salary Range: $124,000 - $197,000
